En Route to Krabi

So here we are on Day 2 of our trip to Southern Thailand. Nope we aren't there yet. We left Seattle on Friday the 17th at 1pm. Landed in Tokyo at 11pm (PST), which translated back to more daylight!! It was roughly 3pm Tokyo time. We endured a nice 10 hour flight and we were bumped up to Economy Plus thanks to Nikki's United Status! More legroom is always a bonus on these long flights. After wandering around the Tokyo Airport and being overwhelmed with how obsessed they are with their digital gadget culture, we decided to sit down and eat Sashimi! We then boarded the next flight which would put us where we are now. The Changi Airport in Singapore. The flight from Tokyo to Singapore was 7 hours and we got the WORST seats with the LEAST amount of legroom on the plane. It was so bad, I had to straddle the seat in front of me so my knee wouldn't get messed up. Anyway, here we are again wandering around another airport in Asia. We landed here at 1am in the morning and it's supposed to be our daytime. Yikes I'm all confused now. It's 4am while I'm writing this post at some internet terminal. I even downed an Americano at 3am because it simply felt right.

So in a few more hours we will then board the plane to fly up to Bangkok and sit in that airport for another 4 hours! And then, take our last leg of flying down to our destination, Krabi Southern Thailand. All in all, I think we've calculated that we are spending over 32 hours in and out of airports.
